I'm the author of STORM BLOWN and SNOW STRUCK and I'm recording this video during an extremely muddy hike through the woods by my house. If you haven't had a chance to read STORM BLOWN, STORM BLOWN is the story of a massive hurricane working its way across the Atlantic ocean into the Gulf of Mexico and my hometown of New Orleans. SNOW STRUCK, my next book, is the story of a once in a lifetime blizzard hitting the eastern seaboard. Specifically, New York City, where I lived for about 10 years before i moved to Pennsylvania. Both of those stories are about big, scary storms but they're also about the kids and the animals who are trapped in their paths... so, if you're interested in survival stories or extreme weather events like hurricanes or blizzards, these might be the books for you!"
