Vermillion VR: Oil Painting In Virtual Reality Via Quest 2 (Quest Beta version)

I purchased the Steam version of VermillionVR and was excited to hear that it was coming to the Meta Quest! Thanks to the developer for letting me have a chance to try out the beta version and for permission to share this video.
Around the 30 sec mark, you’ll notice a patch of hair disappearing – that’s because I’ve hit Un-do with my controller. Now THAT’S something you can’t do with real-life oils. 🙂 Another advantage of digital oils: no mess to clean-up after and no odors — because my real-life basement studio has zero circulation and very little storage space for supplies, oil paints have never been in my radar re: experimentation. I realize that digital painting is not the same as painting with oils in real life, but it’s a fun way of dipping my toe into the experience once in a while.
